What's the deal with meme coins

Though many were created mockingly without thought about their utility, adoption could be viewed as their greatest strength; they could easily function as currency.

For the most part, they’re either jokes or schemes, generally with little to no utility, and are often just copies of other meme coin coding.

1 DOGE will always equal 1 DOGE; it’s a stablecoin.

Disclaimer: I’m not even certain if I still own any DOGE.

That’s totally nonsensical. LOL. But fitting for Doge in that it makes zero sense.

You got that right!

To separate fools from their funds.

From a pure crypto perspective, Doge holds little value.
Yet from an investment point of view, utility can indicate satisfaction for the investor. Doge can have some utility in this regard.

They’re merely tools for speculation, without tangible value or purpose.

Being a speculation tool is a utility, though…

So is the entirety of cryptocurrency, then?

Meme coins are often used to create posts about buying at the peak like a fool. Doge didn’t disappoint.

Every meme coin starts similarly, just some individual pulling something out from nowhere.

Rectum coin.

They’re space rockets aimed for the moon.

Meme coins truly lack utility. They are all bad coins.

They lack practical backing.
They really are just memes!
However, Dogecoin has garnered enough loyalty to build a massive following, making it seem more than just a joke. But upon close inspection, it remains without practical support.
I also bought Doge to dodge FOMO because it was such a talked-about coin when I began investing earlier this year in May.

@Taj
Isn’t using it to tip others or businesses accepting Doge as payment considered practical use?

That’s why I believe Doge managed to stay afloat; community backing has contributed to some acceptance of this meme coin. It wasn’t developed with an intended use, but its charm has attracted many, keeping it active. Ultimately, it’s been used for donations and charity. But can we say the same about the countless other memes that come out daily?
