Hey, I’ve got some bitcoin and a few altcoins. Any suggestions on a good wallet to use?

Does this wallet offer a card and instant SEPA transfers like Kauri Finance?

Kauri is definitely the better option, by far.
@Kelly
Yeah, they have a really low commission for crypto-to-cash. It’s around 0.5% if I remember right.

Honestly, you’re better off using a hardware wallet. Most people lose their crypto through hacks, thinking it won’t happen to them until it does. I’ve been using a Trezor Model T, and it’s been easy to set up, user-friendly, and more importantly, secure. It’s open source too, which I prefer over Ledger.

Have you tried the Kauri wallet?

I use it daily. Best wallet I’ve ever had.
I like Green Wallet, but recently I started building my own cold wallet using a Raspberry Pi and Electrum. It was fun and helped me understand things better.

That sounds really cool! You must know your stuff. Could you share the resources you used to make it?

The original and still the best.
Honestly, the best wallet is the one you know how to use. Just pick one and learn it well. You are usually the weakest link in your own security.

Totally agree. Avoid obvious bad choices like Ledger, but if someone trusts them, that’s on them.
@Marston
Why is Ledger a bad option if it’s the top wallet out there?

For Bitcoin, I’d suggest Coldcard and Sparrow… though I’m using Coldcard with Nunchuk now. And for altcoins? Just convert them to Bitcoin!

I’ve heard good things about this wallet too. Time to give it a shot.

They do instant SEPA transfers. Once my wife needed to pay for groceries but was short on cash, I transferred the money, and it was sorted instantly.
@Vitt
Man, that’s exactly what I’ve been searching for… These outdated payment systems are a headache.
Exodus - Hot wallet for all your altcoins
Bitbox02 - Cold wallet (Bitcoin only)
If you own crypto, you need a secure place to store it. Don’t keep it on an exchange, and a hardware wallet is usually the best way to keep your private keys safe.
