Old enough to gamble irresponsibly.

Just get a job. That’s the best way.
Try quizzes on Coinbase and Revolut, crypto faucets, or maybe some games.
Check out community currencies like Moons, Donuts, Cone, etc.
You can earn them for participating in their respective sections. It’s kind of fun too.

This only works if you’re in Canada, though.

Free Bitcoin sounds a bit fishy to me.

Nah, they just give you small amounts.
Go all in on the latest meme coin. I heard BOS is good - it’s like Book of Meme but with memes.
Just hold it till it’s worthless in about a week. Then save up again and look for better projects that you want to stick with.
@DemiSutra
Seriously, you’re probably better off staking something than mining. Both have their risks, which vary depending on the chain. Crypto gaming usually doesn’t yield good returns. You’d probably be better off just picking up spare coins from the street. Any game that becomes very profitable usually gets exploited until it’s no longer viable.
Scamming people is the only way to get crypto without a job or funds.
What’s the big deal about getting a job and using that income?

You’re probably going to hear a lot of people promoting their coins. Buy a little Bitcoin and then watch the mass market. No need to rush into everything at once. You’re likely to face scams or lose money if you jump in before grasping the landscape.
People will try to convince you to get into decentralized finance, farm airdrops, or buy the latest coin. If you’re not aware of what you’re doing (we’ve all been there), it just opens the door to getting taken for a ride.
So I suggest you buy a small amount of Bitcoin first, then read up and observe. This space is filled with people getting paid to advocate for different projects. Tons of scams exist. Don’t let anyone deceive you; this space is like gambling.
What do you think is a good way for a beginner to get started for free or get into crypto without a job?
Get a job. You can try the suggestions people offer here but they’ll yield pennies each day, or you could just get employed and use your earnings wisely.
Your PC specs aren’t quite suitable for mining. You’ll likely spend more on electricity than you would earn mining.
I’m glad you mentioned not wanting direct messages because anyone who does is just trying to scam you.
I know my view might sound harsh. It’s not all bad, but I won’t sugarcoat it. The crypto scene is full of scams and misleading information. There is genuine potential in the space, but you must take the time to educate yourself before getting involved or you’ll just become easy prey for the wealthy.
Keep in mind that most people end up losing money in crypto and trading.

In a month or two, you could ask here for free Moons - the forum’s own token. They go for around $0.25 now. Many people received theirs at no cost. They’re also having a test run over on the r/cryptocurrencyMoons subreddit. Just post for Moons.
