So I got an email from Coinbase back in January 2024. They said I need to update my ID or my account would be closed for good. I tried to update my ID, but it wasn’t accepted. Fast forward to now, and I can’t see my account anymore. I can’t reset my password either. I emailed them and opened a ticket, but their reply said there’s less than $5 in my account. They said we’ve closed all accounts that don’t meet our updated requirements and since your account has less than a $5 balance, it’s been shut down. This is totally untrue. I have receipts showing I have over $1000 in cryptocurrency in that account. I just can’t access it, and they say there’s nothing there. Does anyone have any ideas on what I can do? The link they gave me doesn’t explain how to get my money back.
