It’s much better that FTX collapsed during a bear market than when BTC was nearing 100k. That would have caused a huge setback.

Celsius, 3AC, and FTX caused the bear market by liquidating Bitcoin and margin calling each other, all with misappropriated funds. It was a mess. Tether liquidated 60k Bitcoin at 23k from Celsius loans to crash it down to 16k. The market literally sold Bitcoin. I was a victim of Celsius, but the losses of these firms cleared out a lot of crypto. Had this occurred with ETFs, retail and institutional investors would have shied away from Bitcoin indefinitely.
