What can scammers do with your wallet address?

If scammers could do anything with just your address, they wouldn’t need to target your wallet in other ways.

They targeted me because they got my email, phone number, and name from some data breach.

It’s a scam called dust attacks. They can drain your wallet. Just give them a new wallet that isn’t connected to anything if you want to keep playing with them.

That’s not true. They can’t steal your crypto just by knowing your address. You should explain what you meant or not give wrong advice—it’s more harmful than helpful.

The guy lost his money because he wasn’t careful, not because someone had his address. No one can steal your crypto just by knowing your address. Make sure you know what you’re talking about before trying to correct others.

How can they drain your wallet with just an address?

@Lake
They can’t. Anyone saying otherwise is either wrong or spreading fear.

@Lake
Exactly, they need your private key and you have to sign off on any transaction.
