I’ve seen a lot of people talking about problems with the Blum Dogs airdrop task where you had to invite 5 friends and spend 0.2 TON. This task ended yesterday, August 26, at 12 UTC, right before the airdrop. Blum claimed the TON network was overloaded, which is why they couldn’t handle all the transactions.
It has been 1.5 days since then. They shut down comments in their official channel, and we haven’t heard anything more. The same issue is happening with DOGS transfers on non-custodial wallets.
Are these scams or just delays? The ton chain explorer shows that the number of transactions today is higher than yesterday.

It’s probably delayed. Their last airdrop went smoothly.
I hope you’re right. But why does the TON team still not process most of the requests for 2 days? Even when Bitcoin had a peak overload in 2018, it didn’t last as long and there was much more volume with transactions being processed quicker, needing at least 3 confirmations from miners.

Dude, remember how it was when noncoin airdropped to us. Telegram and Bybit were a mess. Millions of people were involved, not just a handful, and if they need to check everything manually, it’s going to take a while. Just be patient. Even if you lose that one dollar, it won’t change your life.
