50/50. Its basically a hit or miss
If you want that amount of profit from that investment I’d say do something illegal.
High risk, high return…
If you forget the law, yes, you can make alooot more profit.

What about fishing business ,you buy in Somalia for 70 sh per kilo and then sell in Mombasa or Nairobi wouldn’t that be a massive profit margin? Imagine in total per kilo for logistics you may pay an extra 50 on top
So basically 120 sh per kilo to Mombasa you sell grade 1 for 600 per kilo grade 2 for 200 and grade 3 for 150 per kilo.
They tend to mix the fish though ,so let’s say that on average you sell for 300(being generous) that’s money
Invest 2 million and I think can get 2.7 easily

2.5% returns compounding monthly? If you Yolo the whole thing into the S&P 500 and don’t touch it for 30 years you should average 8% to 10% so 160K instead of 50K.

Investing in a fund tracking the S&P isn’t yoloing money. That is safe
It’s possible to make 50k profit. If you have ever been a broker eg fertilizer broker it’s very possible
Interesting discussion! It seems there’s a lot of debate around achieving certain returns on capital. If anyone here is interested in exploring investment options that provide more predictable returns, I could help. There are funds offering between 8-14% interest or even 7.1% on a dollar fund, which might be a less risky way to grow that 2M capital without needing to navigate the complexities of starting a business.
You can get an FD at 18% per annum which would give you 360,000 which is 30k per month, which is profit

The best FDs in the country max out at 14.5%. But even with your exaggerated rates, you still won’t clear 50k net.
