Nothing is truly operational as a crypto solution right now. We’re still awaiting a major breakthrough (though I remain hopeful one will come).
Yeah? And how many of these are actively used by the public? You mentioned research. I want web3 to thrive just like anyone else, but it simply isn’t there yet.
Bitcoin fading away? Seriously? Its scarcity and deflation are what make it valuable, but it’s still speculative.
Other than this, crypto remains highly speculative with the vast majority holding little real value, relying mainly on the theory of greater fool and tulip mania.

How could any crypto be undervalued? They’re speculative. They don’t provide any real value. Their only worth is from demand and limited supply.
Maybe you should read more about ETH and how it really works.

The value comes from the network and its deflationary design. Hard to believe we’re in 2024 and some folks still don’t grasp this…
Crypto doesn’t operate on fundamentals. It thrives on hype, speculation and a kind of tribal loyalty. At some point, it might tie to genuine business value, but don’t hold your breath until it shows a real use case.
Pizza places succeed because people want pizza. What value does Pizza Hut stock provide? Less than Ethereum I would say. People eat pizza, and the stocks rise ($YUM). With ETH, trading, bridging, swapping and interacting are all happening, leading to volume, or demand. ETH usually appreciates when volume and market cap increase. It parallels stocks and their perceived value. It seems like you’re saying crypto is worthless to you and therefore overvalued for your perspective.
Exactly, none of the cryptos have a solid use case. They keep promising to solve various issues but fall short. Take NFTs, for instance; potential uses like certificates exist, but mostly they are used for ridiculous JPEGs.
