Who’s still using Facebook in 2024?
Maybe for meeting ‘hot singles’
Especially ones ‘near you’
They’re ‘crazy for you’

This conversation is getting risky
If you trust any Facebook ad, you’re asking to get scammed.
It’s more like half of all Facebook ads are scams or use fake AI pics.
Half of the scams are on Facebook and the other half are on X.
Don’t trust social media for anything money-related.
I stopped using Facebook after FarmVille died. That game was the best.

Oh man, that brings back memories.
Meta doesn’t care as long as they’re making money. They should be fined heavily.
tldr; Over half of cryptocurrency ads on Facebook are scams or break Meta’s rules, says Australia’s consumer regulator, the ACCC. The ACCC is taking Meta to court for misleading the public by allowing these ads. The investigation found 58% of the ads used fake celebrity endorsements for scams. Meta has tried removing some ads after complaints but hasn’t done enough to stop them.

I figured out how to get zero ads on Facebook. Plus, I only log in once every couple of weeks anyway.
Tech companies are at fault for letting these scam ads run. Crypto itself isn’t bad; it’s the people behind the scams. Big tech has let society down.
Report those ads to Meta, consumer protection agencies, and the FTC.
Scams are everywhere. YouTube videos on crypto, the top comments are bots, Twitter’s the same, Facebook’s the same. You even get scam DMs on here. You look up any crypto news, and there are fake channels with bot followers pushing scams. This is a huge business, from what I can see.
Meta itself is a scam.
Vanguard said they’ll never offer a crypto ETF.
The USA just moved 600 million to Coinbase, possibly preparing to sell off a bunch of Bitcoin.
Sweden dumped billions of Bitcoin today.
Jump Trading sold hundreds of millions too. Ark Invest got rid of all their holdings.
A whale has been selling billions in chunks recently.
ETH has entered an inflationary phase for the first time in its history.
The bad news today is insane.
I’m surprised Bitcoin hasn’t crashed to 45k yet.

I joined this space at the worst time, late 2021. Getting burned in a bear market teaches you a lot.

The next bull run should be good for those still here.
This article is so true. Every time I report a scam, it’s back within 24 hours.
Facebook has become a joke with these crypto scams. When is the last time they actually cleaned up their platform?
