Forget crypto.

What makes you say that? I’m curious about your thought process behind this comment.

Based on this.

People in this forum seem unaware of what crypto can do globally.

@Deen
I have heard that for ten years now.

And it seems you can’t read the trends, either.

What’s the point of looking at a blown-up bubble when we talk about real-world utility? Some people still hold out hope, while others just trade for profit. The sooner it falls, the better for everyone.

You think I’m unstable? You are trying to put words in my mouth to make a point that insults me.

I won’t attempt to change your mind because I know it’s pointless. I’d be exhausted trying to argue with every crypto enthusiast I encounter.

@Cove
Your concerns about electricity usage are misguided. You’re really going to make me question your understanding.

Hey, uneducated kid, read this

@Deen
Haha, I’m uneducated? You post a link that supports my argument.

Banks handle many more transactions and use only double the energy of a small number of BTC transactions.

You crypto enthusiasts are amusing.

They want to become money launderers, which is embarrassing.

I take this survey as a sign that the game might end soon.

If they add crypto to Tibia, I believe they are saying farewell to a unique game that has served its community well.

@August
What do you think Tibia Coins are? It’s a digital currency for buying goods.

@August
Depending on how it’s implemented, most users might not notice a difference. Only those looking to trade coins elsewhere would care.

It might even lower costs for everyone by giving access to reselling markets through crypto exchanges.

This survey has been repeated so many times over the years, I doubt anything will come from it.

No way, that idea is terrible. Disgusting. Please don’t do it!

Why would I want any crypto in a game I play for enjoyment?

I said this a year and a half ago, and people looked at me like I was crazy. When the crypto market goes mainstream and there’s no escape, it will change money. We’ve been buying currency all our lives on Tibia, and this could keep the game alive and perhaps even attract new players because of play-to-earn features, which are massive in crypto.

@Zach
Is Tibia ready for a wave of new players wanting to earn money? I think it’s a bit small and could lead to problems for everyone. Imagine all worlds having 300 or more players each, and Tibia’s servers aren’t the best. So, I think it’s risky and might not be worth it to bring in more players.

@Conley
I agree they would need to prepare for chaos, but if that does happen, I’m sure they would have enough to improve their servers. They might be hesitant to hire too many people for fear of failing.

@Zach
I think Cipsoft will not invest much into the game. They could do that, but it seems they’re not going to.

If this turns into some crypto nonsense, I will walk away from the game and spend my time and money elsewhere.
